The Old Vicarage is a 22 bed care home suitable for long and short stay residents. We also cater for those who need convalescent or respite care.

We offer 24 hour residential care by well qualified staff. We have double and single rooms which have en-suite facilities and showers. Our ground floor rooms open up onto our landscaped gardens which are wonderful to sit out in the summer.

All bedrooms are equipped with a call system, have television points and telephones with DDI. If you wish to have the facility to make calls this can be organised and all calls will be charged individually. We encourage residents to bring along any personal belongings to make their rooms home-from-home. .

We have two sitting rooms, one of which is a quiet room. If you want to sit quietly and read a book, join in a community event or entertain your family in private there is always a room available.

Our sitting rooms are comfortable. One is fitted with television and video facilities as well as a music centre and a piano for those who like to play.

Residents are invited to dine with others or they may take their refreshment in their own rooms.

We have an specially adapted bathroom and assisted shower room to provide for those who may need a little more help to enjoy the comfort of bathing whilst feeling secure.

The Old Vicarage has its own laundry service collecting and delivering clothes back to the individual client. Our Housekeeper ensures all garments are cared for and if necessary hand washed or dry-cleaned. We do insist that all garments are clearly labelled with the relevant client's name to enable us to idenitfy them easily.
